Week 3

Well I managed to get a little something done for this week.

All rubberstamps are by Oxford Impressions. The piece below is kind of crooked and off since I had to take a pic of it.

I really, really like these two pieces. I just love the layout of these two pieces of artwork, I love the background splotches of paint.....the whole configuration of them both is so pleasing to the eyes. Just more, and more inspiration from you yet again.

Audrey,

I just wanted to let you know that I have just finished reading Shona Cole's book, The Artistic Mother. I was quite impressed. I loved reading about you in the Artist Spotlight. Very inspiring.

I am ready to get started on the 12-week course to help me make art a daily habit. I have started a group with some other artsy moms, (grandmoms, too), called The Artistic Mothers' Group. I just started getting the word out today, and so far we already have ten women participating. By the time you get this message, I'm sure it will be more. I think it's going to explode.

We will be going through the course together and blogging about our progress and linking to each other so that everyone can click around and keep up with each blog participating. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping me get the word out so that as many women that would like to can join in the fun.

Our start date is Saturday, March 6th. Please direct them to my blog post about this for guidelines and full details. I would love it if you joined us as well.

I'd love to hear back from you and know what you think. Here is the link to my post:

Thank you so much, and I hope you have an awesome day!

Hey Audrey. Long time no hear from. Your work just astounds me. You have such a knack to be able to put just the right items, colors and textures into one piece that melds perfectly into beautiful art.

I am hoping to try some of the online scrapbooking but am still researching the best place to find them and the best programs.

Keep up the great work girl.
